Berberine hydrochloride is an isoquinoline alkaloid isolated from a variety of herbs, including Coptidis rhizoma, Phellodendron Chinense Schneid, and Phellodendron amurense, and has diverse pharmacological actions.

Application:
To be used to manufacture berberine tablets, or in composition with other ingredients to create other tablets to be consumed.
It is taken for heart failure. Berberine reduces blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. It can also lower cholesterol levels in people with high cholesterol. Berberine hydrochloride tablets can also cause weight loss. It has been used historically in Chinese medicine to treat these various ailments. Other health benefits may include depression, cancer, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant, infections, reduce fat build-up in the liver, and reduce the risk of death in heart failure patients.
